About the Workshop
This workshop aims to motivate and encourage youth to achieve a brighter future by engaging with the Beirut Marathon. Participants will be introduced to the Beirut Marathon Association (BMA), learning about its journey and impact over the past 21 years on Lebanon’s running culture and the broader community.
The session will highlight the new events introduced in 2023, along with an overview of BMA’s programs and initiatives, demonstrating how youth can benefit from engaging in these activities. Whether through volunteering, interning, or participating as runners, the workshop will emphasize the importance of youth involvement in BMA events, showcasing the personal and community-wide benefits that arise from such engagement.
Additionally, race information for the upcoming 2024 OMT Beirut Marathon will be discussed, providing participants with the knowledge and motivation needed to take part in this exciting event. By the end of this workshop, you will be inspired to join the Beirut Marathon community, contributing to its mission and enhancing your personal growth through active participation.
